Active vehicle traffic occupies the multi-lane bridge roadway while the ornate steel truss towers and decorative stone portal arch of the bridge dominate the mid-ground. The surrounding Manhattan streetscape is visible below on the left, with industrial smokestacks and the Midtown skyline visible in the distance under a clear blue sky.
